[2022 Italian Design Day]

Design exchanges with Italy to promote the design culture and industry & industry 

SDF was invited to “2022 Italian Design Day” marking its 6th anniversary, which took place on March 23, 2022 to promote design exchanges between Italy and Korea.

Under the theme “Re-generation: Design and New Technologies for a Sustainable Future,” the event took place on High Street Italia, a space set up on a tree-lined street for Italian cultural exhibitions and events. SDF discussed its activities and potential for “sostenibile” at the event.

In addition to the event, SDF works closely with the Italian Embassy and Italian Cultural Center to further develop the design culture and industry. .

Italian Embassy: Federico Failla (Italian ambassador), Michela Linda Maugeri (Director of the Italian Cultural Institute), Chiara Ratzenberger (first secretary of the embassy), Ji-woo Kim (public relations officer), etc. Seoul City Government: Soo-jung Kim (director of the Seoul Museum of Craft Art, SeMoCA) and a SeMoCA offical, Gyeong-don Lee (CEO of the Seoul Design Foundation), Ah-yeong Eum (head of the SDF PR Team) Others in attendance: 40 people
